what we beilieve

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God.

We believe that there is only one God eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance: Faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water.

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing in prayer.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.

We believe in the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and that He shall reign with power and glory and, that in the rapture of the church, we shall be united with Him forever.

We believe in celebrating the Lord’s supper as an ordinance, in memory of the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, according to His instructions.

We believe in administering baptism in water as an ordinance to the instructions of Christ. “Even so… come Lord, Jesus”.

plan of salvation

1. The Fact of Sin.

Sin is rebellion against God; falling short or deviating from the standards established by God. Gen. 2:16,17 tells us that Adam, the first man created, chose to rebel against the revealed standards of God. Because of his choice sin entered into the world and death by Sin.

2. The Effect of Sin on Humanity.

We have not sinned in the same (manner) as Adam, but have received the nature of our father Adam at birth. The bible tell us in Ps 51:5 (KJV), behold I was shapened in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. So we understand that the sin nature is passed on at birth. When we understand this truth, we realized that we’ve broken the commandments and are sinners doomed to die separated everlasting from the presence of the Lord.

3. Jesus paid the price for our sin.

God’s great love for mankind was revealed through His son, Jesus Christ. John 3:16 tells us “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” God demonstrated His love while we were sinner.’ Romans 6:23 tells us that the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God sent His son Jesus Christ into the world, to live according to His standards perfectly, and to pay the price for our breaking the standard that we through Him might be brought back to God in relationship. As sons, this, my friend, is the free gift of God. And there is nothing we have or will ever do for this gift.

4. Receive the Free gift of God

Prayer is the way we receive God’s free gift. But as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the children of God; to those who believed on His name. Prayer is the way we receive the gift of God. Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for revealing to me this wonderful free gift you have provided for me through Jesus Christ your son. I realized that I‘m a sinner, and I cannot save myself. I confess my sins and ask you to forgive me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I believe Jesus died on the
cross for my sins and was raised from the dead, that I might be made alive unto God through Him. Thank you for this wonderful free gift of eternal life. Amen.”
